This is the official website of the Zhijed lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, preserving the teachings of Phadampa Sangye (Skt. Paramabuddha), also known as Ācārya Kamalaśīla. Here you will find information about our lineage, teachings, teachers, events and projects.

We are thankful to His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and the late Kyabje Trulshik Rinpoche and Kyabje Chatral Rinpoche, for their support and encouragement.

Projects

We are now working towards the construction of a monastery in Nepal, whose name will be: dPal gyi ding ri glang skor dam chos sdug bsgnal zhi byed gtsug lag khang (“The Monastery of the Sacred Dharma of the Pacification of Suffering, from Dingri Langkor”). The monastery will function as the main center for the preservation of the Zhijed lineage, and as an institution for its study and practice. It will be the first of its kind in many centuries and will be instrumental in reviving the Zhijed and its branch, Chod, as a distinct tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.

We are deeply grateful for any support you may wish to extend towards the completion of this project. Please see the Support page to learn more.
